In our reading from Isaiah 10, God’s people were doing the things that made them look like “they were clean” but secretly they were living dirty and filthy. God calls his people to be bathed, but how? Who can take away the stain of sin? Fr. Shawn McCain is the founding rector of Resurection South Austin. Upon completing an M.Div at Fuller Theological Seminary, he was ordained to the Deaconate in 2011, and the Priesthood in 2012. He and his wife Michelle have been married for over thirteen years and are parents of five kids: Mateo, Maddison, Aubri, Braelyn, and Emery.
