In 2 Thessalonians 3, Paul teaches us how what God says about hard work, how we should work, and the mentality we are to have about work. WHY GOD CALLS US TO WORK • God calls us to work because it reflects our dependence on Him, using His strength and resting in His grace and love as we further His Kingdom. • God calls us to work so we aren’t a burden to others but also to help and provide for those who can’t work. The Bible tells us that we are God’s workmanship and created in Jesus to do good works, which He prepared in advance for us.
