The Thessalonians were known for their “irresistible holiness.” First Thessalonians 4:7 says, “For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.” To be holy means to be set apart, separated for a purpose. God calls us to be separated from sexual immorality to pursue lives that are holy.
