On this special edition of SMPH: The Legend of Zelda franchise has become one of Nintendo's flagship brands over the last thirty-six years, and if you ask around, it's easy to understand why. It's also been one of the cornerstones of my development, as a person. On this edition, I take some time to explain what the franchise means to me, and why I'm so thoroughly excited for the arrival of May 12, and the release of the franchise's newest offering: Tears of the Kingdom. I'll also discuss many of the new additions that make this game FAR more than "glorified DLC", as so many internet whiners would like to insist that it is.
