First and foremost, I want to apologize for my previous statement indicating that anyone voting for a candidate (in this case Obama) without fully understanding what they stand for, is stupid. I don't really believe that. Those that know me, understand I am passionate about my politics and can get carried away sometimes. There is no mistake about Barak's passion and ability to motivate and instill hope in people. Without a doubt, I believe you can attribute the overwhelming turnout among voters to his presence in the race. As I mentioned before, the first time I saw him was on C-SPAN shortly after he became the junior Senator from Illinois. I was immediately drawn to him and was very impressed by his thoughtfulness. What I have been attempting to do is draw a distinction between his candidacy and Clinton's. Frankly, there are only minor differences between the two's positions.
