Oh boy, not too awful much to say here. A short special report recording on the way to and from an early (like silly early) excursion to The Vinyl Underground at 7th Heaven for drop 2 of Record Store Day 2021. So, long story short, Record Store Day came about in 2007 when a group of independent record stores got together to promote the sale of vinyl. By then, streaming had overcome CDs for the preferred music format and records were a thing of the past. Personally, I'd converted over to CDs way back when and slowly moved over to mp3s and later streaming for everything also. Then, about 2.5 years ago, my son and I were cleaning up downstairs and he came across my original copy of Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist. After making sure his fragile young eyes didn't take in the included poster (yep, I have the entire original thing with the order form inside for merch and music from Tentacle Records as well), I found my Sony turntable nearby and we hooked it up.
