He also has earned a BS degree in Social Science from Bethel College (now university), a BA degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida and a BA degree in Political Science from the University of North Florida. He graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) and is a member of the National Political Science Honor Society (Pi Sigma Alpha).
