Amidst a whirlwind few years of touring the world, writing, and recording a new album, Dani has brought forth the amazing complete Remix and Remaster of their 1998 landmark album Cruelty and The Beast. The resulting release - Cruelty and the Beast – Remistressed Edition, out now via Music For Nations (read the Ghost Cult full review here), is one of the finest remasters you will ever hear, totally going back to the source tapes and present the album as it was intended. Dani was happy to discuss the arduous process that took years, the reasons (mostly legal) the collection didn't release as planned in 1998, the work he did with Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studio, his thoughts on Cruelty upon its release compared with now, the infamous story of their 1998 arrest at The Vatican, and his plans for the next Cradle album, coming soon!
