This week we continue our nepotism and have guest, brother of Alex, and car aficionado Phil Orona, join us!  In early adopters we give the wild multiplayer deathmatch Shadow Brawlers a few rounds and Phil played GRID on his phone.  In news, Sony shows their pull-out game is strong by exiting E3 and Nintendo is the biggest salt miner with announcing Byleth as the 5th Smash Bros. 44th Session marks our last episode of 2019!  In Early Adopter Alex & Getty played the Carrion beta, Joel & Alex tackled the irreverent My Friend Pedro and finally got around to the mystifying 3rd person action game Control.  In news we touch upon hints of Kojima’s newest project and the new Witcher series on Netflix.  We skip the backlog blog this week to swap gifts in our first White Elephant exchange, and our benevolent host bequeaths a holiday bonus upon us.  Finally we wrap the show (and year) with a discussion on what games didn’t make our top 10, as well as what games that came out this year that we wish we had time for.
