Flanders worries that he hasn't lived a day in his life so enlists Homer to show him how to have a good time. They go to Vegas, marry cocktail waitresses and the rest is a classically hilarious Simpsons ep. On the podcast, Nathan (aka Poochie) fills in for Andy this week following a pay dispute proving we don't need him at all any more. Nah we're sending our love to Chloe who's not well. xoxo. It's the BI-MON-SCI-FI-CON! A contrived riot of nerds threatens the Mayor (who is there for some reason) until Homer steps in to become his bodyguard. Homer forces Quimby to end the mafia's rat-milking operation. Hilarity ensues. (Presumably at the plant a chicken/brick fills in for Homer) [Synopsis at 11:15]

In this episode, Homer's lack of care causes Grampa's kidney to explode. Instead of giving him (an already promised) kidney, Homer skips town and tries to run away. After being crushed by a car, Dr. Hibbert helps himself to one of Homer's kidney's which saves Grampa's life, much to Homer's disappointment. A solid B episode in our opinion, and a preemptive apology for the rabbit hole's we go down on this one guys, but hope you enjoy!!

Lisa gets addicted to a video game and has to buy the answers to a test from Nelson and gets an A++++. Homer buys Pinchy the lobster who he accidently boils and then reluctantly eats with butter sauce. [Synopsis at 13:30]

On this week's episode, Andy shares a prank on his wife, Rob talk about deterring his kids from drugs, and we dive deep into Season 10 Episode 6 - D'oh-in In The Wind'. This episode didn't get a lot of love from us, but it still had some great parts. Fair to say this won't be anyone's favourite of all time, and was rated largely consistently throughout our listeners. We had a great time putting this one together for you guys, and had lots to catch up on. Enjoy!!

Homer parasails his way through Alec Balwin and Kim Basinger's skylight and (seemingly instantly) into their hearts becoming a sort of assistant to them and their (seeming) best friend Ron Howard. Homer betrays them by giving away their location to the townspeople. Rob and Andy had contrasting fortnights with Rob welcoming his 2nd child (Georgia) and Andy's car getting totalled and getting into a fight with the garbage commissioner. [Synopis at 11:23]

On this week's episode, Rob and Andy talk about new fatherhood, neighbourly disputes, and after a while talk a little about the SImpsons. But seriously, this is another example of a very solid Season 10 episode, which honestly just keeps suprising us! A great emotional story between Bart and Marge with some great humour thrown in too. What's not to love!!

Homer becomes obsessed with Thomas Edison and tries to become an inventor. Predictably his inventions are awful and no one in their right mind would buy them... or accept them as gifts. [Synopsis at 9:47]

We're back to regular scheduled programming this week and it's time to kick-start Season 10! What an episode this is. A fantastic A and B plot with plenty of iconic moments and character development. Remember to save that retirement grease, and strap in for some Season 10 fun. Enjoy!!

But essentially, Marge and Homer's love life is lacking in spice, so they turn to sexy new alternatives to bring the spark back. The episode gets a B from us, and is a nice one to wrap up Season 9 with. Enjoy guys!

Come for the trivia on the heartwarming story of Homer breaking Lisa into a museum just to see the ISIS exhibit (I guess she just thinks they're neat). Stay for the initial banter about Andy's flesh eating virus and Chat GPT (the AI program that will soon be our master). [Synopsis at 13:35]

We come to you this week from....THE POOL!! Rob and Andy record for S09E23 - King of the Hill from Rob's pool in one of our more brilliant ideas! Anyway, this week's episode sees Homer overcome the shame of his deteriorating health by getting fit, on the (power) sauce, and climbing the "Murderhorn". A wonderful example of a Season 9 episode, and we loved recording for this one. Enjoy guys!

Merry Xmas and welcome to a special pub trivia edition where the questions are general knowledge questions (but Simpsons knowledge will give you a good hint). But first the guys air their Festivus grievances incl Mariah Carey, Die Hard and don't-make-me-tap-the-sign bureaucrats. [Trivia at 19:20]

We're back to regular scheduled programming this fortnight with season 9 episode 22- Trash of the Titans! Rob and Andy were a bit divided on their scoring for this episode, but we agreed that there were some brilliantly quotable lines, and a fantastic guest appearance from Steve Martin as Ray Patterson. Homer gets busted for tax fraud and is used by the FBI to try and get evidence of Mr Burns' theft of a 1 Trillion Dollar bill. He eventually helps Burns escape with the money to Cuba, hilarity ensues. The guys talk tax scams and air their grievances. [Synopsis at 10:00]

In a stunning return to form, this fortnight we have Simpson Tide! Homer joins the naval reserve in an effort to give back to a country he has taken so much from, but as we can all imagine, ends up doing much more harm than good. A wonderful episode that both Rob and Andy gave a B+, but is far more divisive through the writer-inerers. Anyway, enjoy!!

The episode that Andy rates as the WORST episode we've covered! Bart is set up on a playdate with Ralph and discovers that he can use Ralph to get the police master key. Mild laughs ensue. The guys talk NZ accents, correct vegemite doses and of course butter. [Synopsis at 11:35]
