This month we talk about the Terror Report being kind of fixed, Indian elections and the Punjab staying Modi-Mukt (Editor's Note: this episode was recorded before the Indian elections results were declared), new examples of Indian interference in Sikh Canadian affairs, a bomb threat and pictures of soldiers at Nagar Kirtans, and finally we speak to the Canadian director of Khalsa Aid about their publicly acclaimed Lapata exhibit in Vancouver!

On April 6, 2019, the WSO held a panel conversation with Sikh women working in the backrooms of politics as campaign managers, advisers, and staffers, across the political spectrum and levels of government. We discussed the challenges and successes that Sikh women face in politics, and how the Sikh community can better support women in the political space. This event was part of the 2019 Ontario Sikh Heritage Month programming at PAMA! KaursVote is a new initiative by the World Sikh Organization of Canada.

This month we talk about Quebec's religious symbols ban bill, Bill 21, and its impact on Sikh Quebecois, the rise of white nationalist and supremacists in Canada, and the very real fear of foreign interference in the upcoming Canadian federal elections. 

BONUS episode! Live from Surrey City Hall, a WSO panel, featuring Dr. Jasjit Singh, dissecting the Public Safety Canada's terror report which included Sikhs as a top 5 threat to Canada.
