Many of us love the season of Harvest but what does that word “harvest” mean in scripture and what is it’s significance?

God holds our hands, our hearts, our desires, our hurts, our times, our past and our future in his hand. Do we fully believe that? 1 Peter 5:6-7 says “humble yourselves therefore under God’s mighty hand that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

God has a joy filled destiny set out before us but we have to be willing to say yes and pursue it!

Digging through Philippians 4 and discovering what is the true secret of contentment.

We have an opportunity to be windows for Christ. When we stand in the light and glory of Jesus, his light shines through us to the world around!

On National Day of Prayer we can read Daniel chapter 6 and see the similarities between the corruption he was facing and the corruption we face today. We have an opportunity to respond to the corruption and brokenness in our country the same way Daniel did - on our knees before the King of kings!

This episode is about answering God’s specific calling for each of us. When my husband and I finally said yes to God’s calling for us, we were blessed, even in the challenges. Being a foster parent can be a roller coaster of experiences and emotions. But God has been our strength through it all and has blessed us beyond anything we could have ever imagined. I will never regret answering God’s calling for our lives! God is faithful in blessing our obedience to him!

I feel so guilty about my addictive social media activity. But in reflecting about this I’ve learned that maybe social media itself isn’t the weakness, but how I am using it, is! I can be more intentional with my social media activity and so can you!

This is the introduction to my podcast “When I am WEAK” where I explain what this podcast is about and the purpose of this podcast. “When I am WEAK” is a podcast based on 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” My prayer is that through listening to this Podcast, you will be encouraged to seek Christ for strength and peace in your life despite the difficulties that you face.
