Part 2: The Contentment    The poverty and desperate circumstances are real; however, we also need to understand that in Christ, we have everything we need. We must find our contentment in Christ and not in the false dreams sold by the prosperity preachers. The Christians in the West should also be aware and be sensitive about the desperation of the poor believers in the third world countries. Last week, we talked about 'Repentance.' We seek to learn about the Christian faith this week. Repentance and Faith tend to go hand in hand when somebody is regenerated by the will of God. Faith in Christ means that we not only have the knowledge of what He has done but applying that knowledge in our life to love Him and obey His word. What is repentance? It's turning away from sins to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ and the Apostles preached repentance in order for us to be forgiven by God. The God of the Bible commands all people, wherever they may be, to repent from their sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

No doubt, we live in uncertain times. However, we can rest assured that Jesus Christ is still in control and will not leave us nor forsake us. He tells us in His word that we should not worry because when we worry we lose our peace and joy. There is peace and security in Jesus Christ.
