God as Father, has promised through a Covenant of Peace to establish every Believer in Confidence, Peace and Increase in the Garden of His Presence. We have access to this garden but we have to decide one thing to stay in the garden. To be goat or sheep? God’s Spiritual Sheep know that there is plenty, but goats live and embrace a life of scarcity and lack. Sheep live in peace, goats butt each other around for position. Those who stay in the garden have their time redeemed, hearts restored and their lives filled with goodness and beauty.

Just like the 12 spies who went to spy out the land, there will be times where we have to choose to take the land, or turn back afraid of the risks and difficulties we might encounter. The land in this case, refers to the dreams and visions God has given or promised you. One of the giants in the land is the spirit of poverty. Poverty attacks us at the deepest level of our identity, values and purpose. But God has already given us the Power to get and establish wealth, defeating poverty!  It's part of the covenant, it's part of the deal when we receive our salvation! Jesus came to save us from every work and effect of the enemy, including poor self esteem and lack! Our side of the deal is to fear the Lord and walk in obedience. The Holy Spirit is preparing our hearts for great things as a Church. He is preparing us to hear His Voice, and have the courage, boldness and ability to act on what He has called us to. God's Timing is very specific and filled with purpose. But for most people, 'God's Timing' means something along the lines of "I didn't get what I expected, when I expected it", a reference to disappointment and delay. That's not God's Timing! His Timing is very sudden, and often, we are left in awe at having received more than we bargained for, a lot sooner than we expected! Faith always requires action, and in the same way that you can’t discover that you can run without actually running, you won't discover faith unless you actually live a life of faith. A stream is always being refreshed at any given moment and place. In the same way, it's so important to be constantly refreshed and renewed by the Spirit and Nature of God, so that we don't allow our past experiences (good and bad) to shape us! We are shaped and formed by the influence of the Holy Spirit on us. When we allow our past experiences to guide us, or when we value them more than the Holy Spirit, our flow becomes bitter and stagnant. The Kingdom of God is manifest on earth through our obedience and faith in the Word spoken over our lives. Diligence is to love and take delight in the call of God on our lives. Authority comes from passionate commitment as He anoints our 'yes' to Him. 

The greatest kings exercised their power for the benefit and growth of their nations under their leadership. You and and I might not be literal kings, but we can exercise great authority and power for the benefit of our families, communities and nations of the world! Discover that power and authority is given to those who nurture and protect, serve and guide, and develop trust and love as they abide in the Presence of God.

Our hearts can only be made glad in the Joy of God’s Presence. Happiness is what flows out of us when our hearts are made glad in Him. We can’t find lasting joy anywhere else but in His Presence, and as we pursue His Presence, we should leave behind us a lasting legacy of Joy! God our Father does have his hand on our lives especially when we start our journey of obedience. But like a dad teaching his children to ride their bikes, there comes a day when God has to let go and release us, trusting that we’ll follow Him with all of our heart in obedience. Jeremiah 31:32-33 speaks of this. The fruit of our obedience is then that we are able to take ownership of our own mistakes, move further and with more freedom, and discover that when we do fall we can get back up again, not giving up on what God has promised us.
