Osmcast! Anime, Video Games, Interviews, And More!

So, kids. When two podcasts like each other very much, they have a crossover episode. And when the OSMcast! and Third Impact Anime both like the works of Masaaki Yuasa and studio Science Saru? They have an episode about the movie  The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl, adapted from the novel by Tomihiko Morimi. Protip: This crazy experiment was recorded live at Hamacon 10. This is also the first time we have tried such a thing, so the audio is a little weird here and there. But still pretty listenable! 

Continuing on our journey through all the interviews we took part of at Momocon 2019, here's the one with Keith Silverstein! Who is that you may ask? Well, he has done a lot! Many will know him as Torbjörn from Overwatch, or maybe Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin. Just all sorts of things! But he will forever hold a special place in our hearts around this parts, as Johnny Boya from mother flippin' REDLINE. 

As we continue the adventures of SS Momocon 2019, here is an interview we got to take part in with Zach Callison! He is probably best known giving the voice to a wonderful kid we know as Steven Universe. It's a show we kinda like. Enjoy! 

So if you haven't noticed yet, we had a ton of interviews at this past Momocon! In this one, we chatted with Deedee Magno Hall! Not only is her name amazing, she herself was also amazing as Pearl, in a cartoon people like to call Steven Universe. As... that is the cartoon's name. She was also Princess Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular for many years, as well as Nessarose in Wicked! She knows how to carry a tune, is all we are saying here. 

From Momocon 2019, we got the chance to talk to Carolina Ravassa! Or as you Overwatch kids may know her as, Sombra. 

So sure. maybe some other major video games expo may be happening right now, but what about what has happened before? Like, say, Momocon a few weeks back. We're back from Momocon, and here to serve you with one of many interviews we got take part in during the con! In this episode, we got the chance to speak with Monica Rial. You may know her best as Bulma from Dragon Ball and the letters that come after, but's she done a ton voices throughout the years. So, back in 2012 (?!), Basil once told Kevin that he really needed to go to an interview with Richard Epcar. And Kevin did, and a wonderful time was had. Well, John was also there in 2012. And since he had the chance to interview Richard Epcar again, John leapt at the chance. That was at Momocon 2018, and this is that podcast. This time, our interview is uh... intergalactic! And uh, spectacular! Legendary? Is that a thing? Well, the thing is that this is an interview with Josh Keaton! He has done a bunch of cool voice-over roles like Shiro in Voltron: Legendary Defender! Or Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man, or if you would rather someone more potentially villainous, Norman Osborn in Marvel's Spider-Man! And if you really wished he voiced a guy named Jack, oh hey! He was Jack Darby in Transformers: Prime.

In this week's episode, we take a trip back in time, to 2018's Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, where our own John Robbins got to chat with both Yuri Lowenthal along with Tara Platt. (It was also where a certain Yuri and may have tweeted a certain awesome thing about John.) Both Yuri and Tara are super prolific Voice-Over Artists. Yuri has been in things like Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Dead or Alive, Naruto, Personas both 3 AND 4, and most recently he was the voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the new Spider-Manvideo game by Insomniac. Tara was also in both Persona 3 and Naruto, along with a bevy of those things! She has been new dub of Sailor Moon, Aggretsuko, Fire Emblem: Awakening, League of Legends, and was also the voice of Yuri Watanabe in, you guessed it, Insomniac's Spider-Man.
