  • Repost: C.S. Lewis Himself (from Mere Christianity)

    22/08/2012 Duração: 14min

Someone told me they had trouble listening to a previous post featuring C.S. Lewis's own voice. After unsuccessful attempts to solving (what I though would be) a simple problem, it seems the only solution is to post it again.  The following is the only surviving recording (from three that were made) from the broadcast talks he did that eventually became Mere Christianity. It was recorded on March 21, 1944 and heard on the BBC on April 4, 1944. It was the seventh and final talk and became the 11th chapter of Beyond Personality (book four on Mere Christianity). Note the book version is somewhat different. Purchase Mere Christianity Visit site that has text version of this talk
