Dr. Donald T. Williams is a Professor of English and Chair of the Humanities and Natural Sciences Department at Toccoa Falls College in Northeast Georgia. While he’s written several books related to C.S. Lewis, the focus of this interview is on his book Reflections from Plato’s Cave: Essays in Evangelical Philosophy that was released earlier this year. For the last ten years the C.S. Lewis Foundation has hosted a retreat at Camp Allen in Texas. This year's event is November 9th - 11th. William O'Flaherty spoke with Andrew Lazo about it. Someone told me they had trouble listening to a previous post featuring C.S. Lewis's own voice. After unsuccessful attempts to solving (what I though would be) a simple problem, it seems the only solution is to post it again.  The following is the only surviving recording (from three that were made) from the broadcast talks he did that eventually became Mere Christianity. It was recorded on March 21, 1944 and heard on the BBC on April 4, 1944. It was the seventh and final talk and became the 11th chapter of Beyond Personality (book four on Mere Christianity).
