"Be a Singer" with Pastor Chad Stuart - Resolutions That Matter for Others: Part Four - Jan. 24, 2026
28/01/2026 Duração: 36minSend us a textThe book of Colossians tells us that we're to "let the Word of God dwell in us richly," and that one of the ways we do this is by singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). In this sermon series, Resolutions that Matter for Others, we're reminded that congregational singing is not filler, but formation. God uses shared songs to teach truth, unify the church, stir gratitude, and keep us faithful in worship. Listen to this replay from Saturday, January 24, as Pastor Chad Stuart delivers the fourth message in this five-part series titled "Be a Singer." "Be Generous" with Pastor Chad Stuart - Resolutions That Matter for Others, Part Two - Jan. 10, 2026
14/01/2026 Duração: 34minSend us a textIn one of his letters to the Corinthians, Paul illustrates how the poor Macedonian churches (like Philippi) gave with overflowing joy—even beyond their means—and how their grace-filled, sacrificial giving inspired them to participate in a collection to support believers in Jerusalem. Their example proves that God’s grace doesn’t just transform one heart through addition—it multiplies, creating a “wealth of generosity” that meets real needs, helps ministry expand, and brings glory to God. Listen to this message from Saturday, January 10, as Pastor Chad delivers the second message in his New Year sermon series, "Be Generous." 24/12/2025 Duração: 30minSend us a textAs a kid, the worst part of Christmas was waiting for Christmas morning. But if we stop to think about it, getting to that first Christmas morning took thousands of years! Waiting is part of the human and Christian experiences. Just as they waited for the first coming of Jesus, we wait for His second coming. It's how we wait that matters. Are we waiting in peace? Are we waiting in anticipation, clinging to God's promises? 17/12/2025 Duração: 30minSend us a textFor many, the Christmas story feels warm and beautiful, but from Jesus' perspective, it meant a lifetime of gossip, misunderstanding, and offense. Yet, He was able to walk in peace. Worship with us as we continue our December sermon series "Let There Be Peace in Me." Perfect Peace - Let There Be Peace in Me, Part One - Pastor Chad Stuart - Dec. 6, 2025
10/12/2025 Duração: 23minSend us a textFear dominates our world—grief over losses, financial worries, and an uncertain future. Jesus warned that people would “faint from fear” as the world grows darker. But there’s hope. Isaiah 26:3 promises: “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Peace isn’t found in being tough, having money, or the world improving. It’s found in one place: the presence of Jesus. Just as a child finds safety sleeping next to their father, we find peace when we draw close to Christ. This Christmas, Jesus offers you His gift: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you”—a peace the world cannot give. Will you accept His presence? Worship with us as Pastor Chad Stuart shares, "Perfect Peace," the first message in his four-part Christmas series titled “Let There Be Peace In Me.” DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIBLE?If you're searching for a warm, welcoming place to grow your faith, Spencerville is the church for you! MacGyver Your Life, with Pastor Chad Stuart - Nov. 29, 2025
03/12/2025 Duração: 31minSend us a textJoyful contentment receives and enjoys what God gives today. But how do we build contentment? By gratefully recognizing God’s gifts in your work, table, and season of life! We're called to steward (not strive to “maximize”) the good and grace around us—even amidst our difficulties. Our goal should be to trust that God Himself fills our hearts with gladness, and what He gives is enough! A Masterclass in Remembering God's Love - Pastor Chad Stuart - Nov. 22, 2025
26/11/2025 Duração: 32minSend us a textGod doesn't just tell us about His love for us. Throughout human history, He's endeavored to show us His love. And yet...we forget. But when we do, He again reminds us of His love and tells us to rehearse how He has shown it. Why does God go to such great lengths to show us His love? Is it solely so we'll have the opportunity to bless His name and rest in His compassion? There must be more to it, right? Wherever you find yourself, we invite you to listen in as Pastor Chad Stuart delivers a stand-alone sermon message titled "A Masterclass in Remembering God's Love." Counterfeits: Part 5, Leaving Babylon, Coming Home - Pastor Chad Stuart - Nov. 15, 2025
19/11/2025 Duração: 39minSend us a textSatan works to persuade us that this world—Babylon’s system of power, pleasure, and false worship—is home (Rev. 17–18; 14:8; 1 John 2:15–17). However, Scripture tells us that this is patently untrue and that our citizenship is in heaven! God’s call is clear: come out of Babylon—separate your allegiance and worship—lest we share in her sins and plagues (Rev 18:4). Leaving Babylon does not mean we retreat from the world; like the exiles did (Jer 29), but instead live faithfully within it—seeking its peace, doing good, and bearing witness. And we're called to do this while refusing its idols (Jer 29:4–7; Dan 3; John 17:15–17; Rom 12:2). Babylon ends in smoke, where the New Jerusalem shines with God’s presence! Tears are wiped away and the nations are healed (Rev 18:9–10; 21:1–4; 22:1–2). This is an invitation to come out of Babylon in heart and habit, even as you live here. It's a call to worship God alone, to hold your citizenship on earth lightly, and to invite others to join you as we

Counterfeits, Part 4: The Dragon's Altar Call - Pastor Chad Stuart - Nov. 8, 2025
12/11/2025 Duração: 34minSend us a textScripture warns that before the close of history a false revival will sweep across Christianity—marked by “all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thess 2:9; Matt 24:24; Rev 13:13; 16:14). It will appear to be Spirit-filled, electrifying, and will attract multitudes—but it will value spectacle over Scripture, coercion over conscience, and self-exaltation over exaltation of the Lamb (Jesus). Noted author Ellen White said, “...another spirit will make it appear that God’s special blessing is being poured out” (GC 464). But this counterfeit rises before God’s promised true revival... Counterfeits, Part 3: The Seals of God and the Mark of the Beast, with Pastor Chad Stuart - Nov. 1, 2025
04/11/2025 Duração: 40minSend us a textScripture tells us that God seals His people in two ways: through the Gospel of Jesus at the time of salvation, and apocalyptically at the end of time. In both cases, we are sealed through our trust in the truth of the Gospel as evidenced by our obedience to God. Like the many other counterfeits we’ve examined during this series, we see that Satan also offers a counterfeit seal, referred to in Scripture as the Mark of the Beast. There are numerous theories about the Mark of the Beast and the factors that cause a person to receive it. The truth is that it requires only disobedience, with Satan, the great deceiver, dressing this disobedience up as the easier, reasonable path, and dismissing the seal of God as optional.Don’t miss this pivotal message in the Counterfeits series with Pastor Chad Stuart! This week, we’ll explore the third part of this five-part series, titled “The Seals of God and the Mark of the Beast.” DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIBLE?If you're searching for a warm, welcomi

Counterfeits, Part 2: The Unholy Trinity, with Pastor Chad Stuart - Oct. 25, 2025
29/10/2025 Duração: 38minSend us a textThe Bible tells us that a counterfeit ‘trinity’ is hard at work right now. Every Christian needs to recognize these counterfeits! Here's why it matters: Counterfeits don’t just confuse prophecy; they redirect worship! The aim of the devil is not merely political power but confusion and misplaced allegiance. These often subtle counterfeits trade love for coercion, truth for spectacle, and conscience for consensus. Worship with us on Saturday, October 25, as Pastor Chad continues his Counterfeits series with his second message titled "The Unholy Trinity."Get the sermon handout for this message here: The True Trinity vs. The Counterfeit Trinity (PDF, 104kb)What is the Counterfeit Trinity? The dragon (Satan) is posing in the place of the Father, wanting ultimate decision-making authority in the world and our lives. 22/10/2025 Duração: 37minSend us a textA counterfeit is an imitation of something valuable or important, made with the intention to deceive or defraud. This week, we launch “Counterfeits,” a five-part series designed to help us walk wisely and hopefully in God’s truth—now and into the future. 08/10/2025 Duração: 22minSend us a textThere's something sacred about sharing a meal with someone. Scripture reveals that many of Jesus' most significant conversations with people took place over food. Was it really about the food? Or was Jesus modeling a practice—in this case, eating together—as an invitation to get to know Him and introduce people to His Kingdom? Bridges, Part 3: Stoners, Runners, and Figs? with Pastor Chad Stuart - Sept. 13, 2025
08/10/2025 Duração: 31minSend us a textAs we work our way through our "Bridges" sermon series, we're exploring how we can build bridges from our hearts to the hearts of others—bridges that Jesus Himself can cross. These bridges aren’t only formed through messages or Bible studies, but often through the everyday practices and choices that lift up Jesus to a watching and needful world. This week, Pastor Chad unpacks how stoners, runners, and figs illustrate the biblical command to “welcome one another” and will help us live as bridges to Jesus in an increasingly divided world.
