On this week’s show we talk about the Fifa Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia, with African champions Al Ahly of Egypt reaching the semi-finals again. We have an interview with 2008 African Footballer of the Year Emmanuel Adebayor, who’s Africa’s all-time top scorer in the English Premier League. Adebayor says that the recently-crowned 2023 African Footballer of the Year Victor Osimhen should move to the EPL.And lots on the EPL, as Stuart analyses Nottingham Forest’s decision to fire manager Steve Cooper, and a look at the top of the table.

On this week’s show we have lots on the CAF awards ceremony held in Morocco on Monday, with Nigeria's Victor Osimhen winning the 2023 African Footballer of the Year award and with Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala winning the women's award for a sixth time.And we talk about the EPL, with Liverpool on top, and the UEFA Champions League as Manchester United crashed out of Europe.

On this week’s show we look ahead to the upcoming CAF Awards, with Victor Osimhen heading the shortlist for the men’s player award.We take a look at the rise of football in Mauritania, with Nouadhibou getting their first-ever win in the Champions League group stage. We speak to Nigeria midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru on life in Turkey with Hatayspor, and we have Stuart on the EPL, with Man City now in fourth, six points behind leaders Arsenal.

On this week’s show we take a look at VAR and Africa – the technology has not been used much in Africa, but we hear from a Fifa referees instructor, Felix Tangawarima, who says that more countries in Africa should start using VAR.We find out about VAR Light, which can work with just three cameras in countries where there are financial constraints.And Tangawarima highlights how match officials can benefit if they are VAR-trained.Plus Stuart with lots on the EPL.
