Episódios

  • 071 - 07/02/10 Friday Night Gaming - Naughty Bear

    03/07/2010 Duração: 173h10min

It was a good idea on paper, but maybe not so much at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, where we played Naughty Bear for the Xbox 360. "Like Postal but with Teddy Bears" they said. Watch as we torture our audience with this game and then lament on how we'll probably never be able to sell it. We even play online and can't figure out the rules for about 30 minutes. At least some Twilight fans showed up so we could make fun of them...

  • 070 - 06/25/10 Friday Night Gaming - UFC Undisputed 2010

    26/06/2010 Duração: 164h39min

Glen returns from the riots of LA on this edition live from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA. The game we chose this week is UFC Undisputed 2010 on the Xbox 360 - and unfortunately none of our online audience who begged us to play the game showed up to take their beatdowns. So, we spend the rest of the time playing a rare pack-in game for the SNES later in it's lifecycle - Super Mario All-Stars with Super Mario World. Some customers come in (after closing) and can't name the game that we're playing, but you should hear their reaction when we tell them the name of the game we ARE playing!

  • 069 - 06/18/10 Friday Night Gaming - E3 2010 Wrapup

    19/06/2010 Duração: 151h09min

Corey joins Bobby at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA to talk about the big three at E3 2010. Videos from all of the consoles are played and experiences are shared - Bobby's from the show floor, Corey's from sitting in the store watching on the internet.

  • 068 - 06/11/10 Friday Night Gaming - Prince of Persia, Alan Wake

    14/06/2010 Duração: 171h35min

Two for the price of one at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA - Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and Alan Wake, both for Xbox 360! We also talk about E3, used games, and even bring out a SNES for a quick classic gaming segment.

  • 067 - 06/04/10 Friday Night Gaming - Split/Second

    09/06/2010 Duração: 174h52min

Michael Bay the video game explodes into CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA this week as we take a look at the extreme rubberband/slingshot AI of Split/Second. How does Bobby's second favorite game of E3 2009 hold up? We play some singleplayer as well as online with our listening audience.

  • 066 - 05/28/10 Friday Night Gaming - Super Mario Galaxy 2

    30/05/2010 Duração: 175h59min

It's raining outside, but there's a galaxy inside at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, where we're playing Super Mario Galaxy 2. We begin with some people who've never played the first game (and one person who has never really played a Wii) but then finish strong with a fan of the first game. We also take a look at some things around the store, such as a licensed mini-Genesis and the Nintendo Monopoly game. Yes, the board game.

  • 065 - 05/21/10 Friday Night Gaming - Red Dead Redemption

    22/05/2010 Duração: 170h14min

This week from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we play Grand Theft Western on the Xbox 360. Okay, so it's called Red Dead Redemption, and it looks great. Witness as we throw people who've never played it before into the game and watch as they try to ride the horse. We then play some online multiplayer and highlight some of the long wait times to get to action if you don't know what you're doing.

  • 064 - 05/14/10 Friday Night Gaming - 3D Dot Game Heroes

    15/05/2010 Duração: 173h59min

This week from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we show off 3D Dot Game Heroes on the PS3. This Zelda-inspired game is rated E10, but by the end of the show we tend to wonder why the raters didn't catch what we caught. We do tease a hardware segment, but never really get around to it. We'll hold it for a later week.

  • 063 - 05/07/10 Friday Night Gaming - Just Cause 2

    08/05/2010 Duração: 172h56min

This week at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we play Just Cause 2 on the Xbox 360 "just 'cause" we can, even though a hotly anticipated beta was launched. Unfortunately, nobody called in the entire show, so it's really just us talking about what's going on in the game.

  • 062 - 04/30/10 Friday Night Gaming - Super Street Fighter IV

    01/05/2010 Duração: 166h30min

Glen triumphantly returns to his co-hosting spot at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA as we play some Super Street Fighter IV on the PS3. Local MvC player Ted comes in and whips ass on our online audience in ultra-combo action, even when we try to mess him up by changing the controller button layout to the default.

  • 061 - 04/23/10 Friday Night Gaming - Dark Void, Army Of Two 40th Day

    24/04/2010 Duração: 166h16min

The Shop Manager of CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, Mike, fills in for Glen as he's out taking care of business for a second straight week in a row. Since it's a slow week for new games, we pull off some January releases off of the used game wall - Dark Void and Army of Two 40th Day for Xbox 360. We also show off some controller modifications that make your controllers look and feel different (and allow their batteries to drain a lot more than usual!)

  • 060 - 04/16/10 Friday Night Gaming - Splinter Cell: Conviction

    17/04/2010 Duração: 176h46min

Kevin ("Mini-Glen") sits in for Glen this week while he is out handling important business matters at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA. The ironic part is the game we are playing is one of Glen's most hyped up games of the year - Splinter Cell: Conviction for the Xbox 360. We play the singleplayer (and have several people not well versed in the way of Sam Fischer stealth die) and try to hop on the multiplayer but can't find any listeners to play with us.

  • 059 - 04/09/10 Friday Night Gaming - Halo 2

    10/04/2010 Duração: 169h33min

It's time to say goodbye to Xbox Live for Original Xbox games at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA. We start off looking at the original beta test kit from 2002, complete with a promotional video of what Microsoft envisioned Xbox Live would be like. Then, it's off to the most popular game for the console - Halo 2. We play games online with our audience and even frequent chatter S-arge comes up to talk some smack. Be warned: This isn't going to be a really good podcast, as most of our live audience was busy playing the game with us to actually interact.

  • 058 - 04/02/10 Friday Night Gaming - Special (Ed) Gaming

    03/04/2010 Duração: 148h34min

It was April First in our heads at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, so it was time to break out some special games. Superman 64 and ET 2600 started off the night, until Derrick Hopkins of Dead Pixel Live started chastising us for daring to call any game crap, as some of our live audience started pulling out GOOD 2600 games and calling them crap. Then we pull out some stinkers from the Xbox 360 - Bullet Witch and Eat Lead. This is a partial recording as the processor was still overheating at the time.

  • 057 - 03/26/10 Friday Night Gaming - Game Room, The Saboteur

    29/03/2010 Duração: 178h21min

We turn CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA into a Game Room by showing off Microsoft's newest addition to the Xbox Live and Games For Windows platform. Is it for everyone, or just consumer whores like Bobby? Then, we do an impromptu CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight and we replace the analog stick in an N64 controller. After the kids are put to bed, we check out a game that came out in December of 2009 by EA - The Saboteur for Xbox 360. CC Gaming employee Kevin (or "Mini-Glen") plays through the game alternating between missions and random messing around, with an explosive ending featuring bovines. You won't want to miss it!

  • 056 - 03/19/10 Friday Night Gaming - Perfect Dark

    20/03/2010 Duração: 173h46min

We take a trip back in time at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA and show Perfect Dark for both the Nintendo 64 and Xbox Live Arcade. We compare the intros and the first few chapters in campaign mode on both systems, and then battle online and in splitscreen on the Xbox 360 version. We also explain why we did not run God of War 3, even though it is a fantastic game.

  • 055 - 03/12/10 Friday Night Gaming - Final Fantasy XIII

    13/03/2010 Duração: 176h55min

SPOILER ALERT! WE START FROM CHAPTER 3. Live from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we pray that we can make it through an entire show so we can show off Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3. We start the game from Chapter 3, right when the main gameplay mechanic is introduced (Paradigm Shifting.) This is after about 3 hours of normal gameplay. Watch as we all struggle with the first boss because we forgot to level up our characters.

  • 054 - 03/05/10 Friday Night Gaming - Blur Beta, Battlefield: Bad Company 2

    06/03/2010 Duração: 160h59min

PARTIAL RECORDING: Our computer bluescreened with 10 minutes left to go in the show - we did not go back on the air afterwards. We treat our live audience at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA with a beta that hadn't yet opened to the masses - Activision and Bizarre Creations' Blur. We race around for a while. In the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we discuss the ApocalyPS3 where all the older PS3 models were unusable for 24 hours due to a Leap Year Glitch in the system clock - and we show you how to repair it without waiting for the 24 hours! Just in case it happens again... ...Then, we play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the Xbox 360 with our online audience.

  • 053 - 02/26/10 Friday Night Gaming - Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

    27/02/2010 Duração: 176h39min

In this full episode from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we play a game that is near and dear to our online audience but not our local audience: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for the Wii. Unfortunately, our live audience refuses to play about half way through the game (first time for everything) so part of the time is spent playing Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games before returning to the fighting game at the end of the show.

  • 052 - 02/19/10 Friday Night Gaming - Bioshock 2

    20/02/2010 Duração: 113h04min

PARTIAL RECORDING: Due to unfortunate circumstances regarding our machine, we lost much of the audio from this show. There is marginally more on our video feeds. On this show live from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we play Bioshock 2 on the Xbox 360 both offline and online, as well as show off what's in the Collectors Edition. But first, we show what happened to our computer as we attempted to do the show the previous week during another Snowpocalypse.
