Piggy Moto - All Star Boar Band

Locals share stories with the band that inspire the pigs to re-think their participation in the contest and their willingness to face even more danger in the name of equality.

Poison-induced nightmares haunt Eberhard as he recuperates in the spa. Later, he runs into one of the detectives investigating the attacks. The detective seems to be using illusions to conceal his true appearance. Eberhard rushes to share this news with his friends, and runs into the same rabbit from the night before, who has some interesting information for him.

The rabbit tells his tale of woe and sabotage as he shares drinks with the pigs.  Distress spreads through the bar, however, as contestants begin to feel the effects of the villain's next attack: Poison in the beer.

The first reheral goes well, and Piggy Moto gets a good earful of their competition.  Afterward, everyone returns to the hotel bar for a few well-earned drinks.  There, a down-on-his-luck rabbit demonstrates a startling skill.

Stalkers in the shadows spy on the boars as they prepare their act for the stage. Eberhard meets the creepy and eccentric owner, who describes the frustration of keeping trespassers out of his theater.

The saboteur has targeted every participant in the contest, but until just recently, the pranks have been limited to vandalism and petty theft. Nobody had been attacked until Piggy Moto found their friend face-down and bleeding in the snow. Several contestants visit the pigs' suite to check in on the hurt boar, but their concern for his well-being may just be a ruse.

A detective arrives at Piggy Moto's suite to question the wounded boar about his attacker. The pigs are leery, however and realize that this investigator's motives are not entirely savory. When he exits, other musicians arrive to check on their competitor. Are their concerns genuine? Or do they, too have something up their sleeves?

Inside the hotel spa, the four healthy pigs huddle around their hurt companion.  Fear has spread through the band, but the members can not agree about what to do next.  Should they press on and hope that the'r attacker is brought to justice?  Should they take a more active role in helping law enforcement?  Or, should they pack their bags and catch the first ship headed for home?

Some of Piggy Moto's competitors come to the pigs' aid and rush out into the snow to help the wounded boar. It's possible that his wounds are not as grievous as they first appeared, but hypothermia poses a threat to the unconscious musician, who's been lying in the snow without a jacket for far too long. Detectives arrive to investigate the scene, and the civilians hurry back to the hotel's warmth.

    The boars take a break from contest business to enjoy a nice spot of tea out on the town. One of the pigs takes offense at his friends' taunting, however, and storms off in a huff. The others share a laugh at their friend's expense and go about their afternoon, only to learn with shock and horror, that they should not have let their friend wander off alone. Blood stains the snow where their friend lies unconscious, as Piggy Moto scrambles to get help. No longer satisfied with the impact of his vandalism, the saboteur's pranks have just turned bloody.

  The event's spokeswoman calls all of the musicians together to explain the idea behind the contest, the rules, and the reward. Even though the event has been organized for altruistic reasons, the participants clearly have their own ambitions and motivations.

  Eberhard ducks into the spa to relax and to get his thoughts in order. There, he meets a pagan medicine-man who's been sent by his coven to watch over the competition and to prevent any corruption of nature that might be caused by the gathering of so many foreigners and their magics.

  The boars of Piggy Moto have an eye-opening breakfast conversation with more of their competitors, these hailing from the arid, southern Burning Lands. Eberhard flees the taproom restaurant when tempers flare and a riot threatens to break out. He and his friends are not alone in their victimization. For, it seems that most everyone in the contest has suffered threats, theft and the vandalism of their equipment.

  Nightmares shake Eberhard awake once again. He meets the other boars in the suite's main lounge and learns of the threats that were made against the troupe during the night.

  Eberhard shares drinks with an intimidating mouse from the frozen land of Moscrovia, and her predatory bodyguards. It seems that prejudices vary from region to region, but everybody seems to speak the language of violence.

  Byron chuckles at a crime in progress, but is useless as a witness when police arrive on the tail of the fugitive at work. Johan gets caught eavesdropping on the competition, and Eberhard is pulled away from his friends by a dangerous female.

  Eberhard and his friends check out the hotel spa and enjoy their first real bath in weeks. A social faux pas, however, earns the swine a dangerous enemy.

  As the pigs settle into their suite, other international contestants begin to arrive at The Sheltering Arms. Eberhard, Corbin and Gustave decide to head down to the lobby to get a look at the competiton, some of whom are much less friendly than others.

  The pigs get their first look at Farpoint and are disappointed with the port city's cold and uninviting facade. They are greeted by a representative of the hotel at which they will be staying and guided to The Sheltering Arms—a grand establishment that impresses the boars with its opulence.

  Crew hands inform Piggy Moto that they are nearing their destination at long last.  Eberhard and his four friends--Corbin Zellig, Johan Tyson, Gustave Baldur and Byron Warner--prepare for their disembarkation and plan their strategy for success. When they gaze across the bay at the port city of Farpoint, however, Eberhard begins to have second thoughts.
