Occidental Community Choir Winter Concerts 2018 Occidental Center for the Arts November 30th – December 9th, 2018 Born around a bonfire in the town of Occidental in 1978, the Occidental Community Choir has become a treasured West County cultural institution. Creative, quirky and consistently melodious, OCC celebrates its 40th Birthday this December! So, instead of having a midlife crisis and getting a tattoo, we're observing this momentous occasion with a winter concert series celebrating four decades of making original music in the inspiring company of our friends and neighbors amid the scenic surroundings of Sonoma County. Directress and alumna Sarah Saulsbury will spin yarns and lovingly lead our now 50-member ensemble through a trip down memory lane, as we revisit some of the best-loved songs of the winter holiday season written by choir members past and present.
