Amit Peled Occidental Center for the Arts Sunday, February 10th, 2019 @ 4:00 pm Israeli cellist Amit Peled is returning to Occidental! Kit Nuestadter, Redwood Arts founder, introduced to him to our series 13 years ago when he was a young, upcoming cellist. The love affair between him and our audiences was immediate and has continued over the years. Now world famous, Mr. Peled has graciously agreed to make his fifth appearance in our concerts. He will be playing Pablo Casals’ historic cello, a Gofffriler ca. 1733, presented to him by Mrs. Marta Casals Istomin, widow of Maestro Casals.
