The service is part of the university’s week-long Festival de Encuentros. Encuentros means encounters in Spanish. During the service, scriptures were read in English and Spanish and students shared what it means to be Latino at CLU. Magdalene and Ron Teichmann, who both teach in the Spanish department, sang a song they wrote for the annual celebration.
