As each of experience trials during our life we often don't think of them as a good thing. But the book of James tells us to consider it pure joy! However, its not the joy that we think about when circumstances turn out to a happy ending. Joy is the expression of faith often during times of challenge and persecution. But it is often during our trials where we most experience God. And it is the testing of our faith that yields true joy fueled by hope. Our text for this sermon is James 1:2-12.
