November 15: The Practice of Buddhism in the Tibetan Tradition Speaker: Lama Zopa Lama Zopa is the Resident Lama at Karma Thegsum Choling in Albany, NY. Born in New Jersey, he was first attracted to Buddhism as a teenager. He has traveled to India and Nepal to study Buddhist philosophy as well as the Tibetan language. He has completed two three-year retreats under the guidance of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, director at the KTD Monastery in the Catskills.
