Son of the legendary Hawaiian 'Buffalo' Keaulana. Born and raised on the beach at Makaha, Brian Keaulana became one of the top professional surfers in the world. From there he decided to become a lifeguard and was a pioneer in ocean safety, most notably introducing the Personal Water Craft into lifeguarding. His brother, Rusty Keaulana was 3 time Asp World Longboard Champion.
