Mojo Talk

Atong Deng is South Sudanese-Canadian raised in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Northern part of Kenya. She resided there with her family & relatives seeking asylum following civil war outbreak in Sudan that displaced thousands of people to neighboring countries.  She attributes her incredible results to hard work via Education, she was able to acquire a paid four year scholarship through High School.  From there she went on to achieve a scholarship through World University Service of Canada to pursue her post-secondary education in Canada. She attended Vancouver Island University and later on joined University of Victoria and graduated in June 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She was an ambassador for young South Sudanese women in Canada this pageant was her founding interest in other pageants.  After graduation from University, she was able to participate in her second pageant, Miss Canada Globe in 2015 then went on to win the provincial title of Miss British Colum
