From James 1:19-22 Here’s the thing about living according to the Word of God: it’s not optional. If a person says they accept God but they do not accept what God says to do, then they have not actually accepted God. Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). If we think we can follow God apart from obedience, we’re only deceiving ourselves. When God’s ways are most prevalent in our hearts then God’s ways will come out. But if it’s the world’s ways filling our hearts, then it's the world’s ways that will come out. Has Jesus made a difference in your life?

Pastor Neil will be continuing the-Living Out Your Faith Sermon Series with the second message titled: "Trials vs Temptations" from James 1:9-12 This message will help to encourage us to persevere through trials with joy and faith, and to understand that temptations must be resisted by choosing God's path, seeking wisdom, and relying on his strength. We will begin a new sermon series on the book of James called-LIVING OUT YOUR FAITH (Practical Living Guidelines For The Christian Faith) Pastor Neil will begin the first sermon titled: "Faith Under Fire" from James 1:1-8 This series will be a great study that will help us to live out our faith and to sort through the world’s views versus Gods view of living and dying. It will help us to maneuver through trials, temptations, and hardships while keeping our eyes on Christ and positioning ourselves for Kingdom living.
