Joining Peter on the first episode is Thomas Lambert, a Sociology professor who has worked at Sullivan County Community College in Loch Sheldrake, New York since the 1970s. Professor Lambert talks about an array of different subjects including the effects of globalization in today's society, what led to him becoming a professor, overcoming his problem with stuttering, and what keeps him going every day.
