Purpose Statement: The approach of the Advent season is a time when the yearly routine of life changes. It even starts before Thanksgiving. This season usually lasts from November 30 through Christmas Eve. As we prepare for Christmas I’m reminded of Helen Keller who said, “The only real blind person at Christmas is the one who has not Christmas in their heart.” Questions: What puts Christmas in our hearts? What puts Christ in our hearts? Will we share about our hopes or sadness this Christmas season?
