"In the fullness of time," (Gal. 4:4) is how the Bible explains the 4000-year-long span from the promise made to Eve and Adam in Genesis 3:15 to that chilly night the Angels sang "Glory to God in the Highest," in Bethlehem.    What took so long? To answer that question, we must go back to before the beginning, where the story really began, with the rebellion of Lucifer. We must follow the conflict between God and the Serpent, now turned Dragon, who was bent on devouring God's kingdom.   This fight began before we were created and only intensified when God decided to make us in His image.
