Purpose Statement: Faith is like calories: you can’t see them, but you can always see the results! Genuine faith produces genuine results. James calls attention to the fruit after salvation. Every believer rooted in Christ by faith will bear fruit, like branches on a vine (John 15:4-5). To James, the world should be able to tell that our faith burns bright in our hearts by the works they see coming out of our lives. James refers to the justification by faith in that it validates the evidence. It is proved by works. How is Trinity E.C.C. similar or different from the seven churches in Revelation?
