So often in roles as caretaker - whatever that may look like, we can be focussed so much on holding space for others we forget that we also need to be held. Whilst it may not be possible in the thick of things and we just do what we need to stay strong and have. A positive mindset, it’s important to take time out to let ourselves be in a space of vulnerability. To feel and to be held so that we can be met in our vulnerability. The longer we try to push down what’s going on, the more likely it is to come up later on in a way we least expect and in almost disrupting way.
