First off R.I.P. David Freel. You are missed good sir. Thanks for all you've given this world. I've got some good things going for me folks. I sold this book off finally. I discuss it some here. In addition, I saw one of the best films I've ever seen in my life. I discuss that more after the break. I've picked up a few new records and I really dig them. Pics of them (and much much more) right here. This is Big Audio Dynamite is a real find. I wasn't planning on it, but there it is. Record Store Day is this Saturday morning and I will be there. It got bumped from June up early, but that's not gonna stop me from at least getting Childish Gambino - Kauai and Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells II. I love both of those albums a lot and can't wait to share them with my family. Everything, Everywhere, All at Once is a masterpiece in my opinion. Some might not feel the same, but it's one of those films that just plain spoke right to me. I love it and I go on and on about it in the episode. We're loving watching Halo, Moon

Looks like I will be tearing down and cleaning out the Asus ROG gaming laptop I snagged. Even still, it's a good deal and an additional $50 or so for the parts/tools/liquid metal to bring it to better than it's ever performed is a small price to pay. I took a little road trip and scored myself an ASUS ROG gaming laptop for like $350. Yeah, it's a couple of years old, but it's good enough to keep me occupied for a few months until the Steam Deck arrives, if it ever does. I already scored Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Deluxe Edition for like $10. I already have some others also. I'm looking forward to it. After the break, I talk about something pretty personal. I had toyed with cutting it out completely. That's not how to do things though. Continuing to have toxic shame as a part of my life is not beneficial. And if you can name that group...pat yourself on the back folks. So, this is the first recording made on my recently purchased used (but damned near brand new with box and all) Zoom H4 Handy Recorder. This thing is really slick. I cannot believe how light it is and how well it records. I'm aware of the popping going on in this recording and I've minimized it. It came with a foam mic cover, but it's not sufficient. I've ordered a dead cat (that's an industry name) wind guard that should help alot. Regardless, this thing is astounding. The funny thing is that it's been around for a long long time. In addition to being a handy dandy high-end recorder, it can also record 4 channels at once via the onboard stereo mics and two XLR inputs on the bottom. Pretty amazing for on-location podcast episodes with guests in the future. So, that's really the good thing going on with me this week. There's more, but that's a biggie. We also caught The Batman and I can tell you that it's pretty much everything they've been sayin

COVID sucks! I made it through however. Things I'm into right now... Well, I added cable extensions to the second gaming PC build. They add a little white color pop to the whole thing and it's nice as the lighting reflects off them. A few more benchmarks and this baby will be up for sale. Listening to that new Urge Overkill record and loving it. Picked up a few more used records for the collection as well. Pics here. Finished the first season of The Peacemaker and we loved it. I think it does people. I really do. Try it, like me, and see what happens. I'm done with negativity. Sure, I will get ticked here and there a little from time to time still. I won't, however, treat everyone as I'm treated when it comes to treating people bad. I was always taught that "two wrongs don't make a right" and I'm pretty sure that's some sort of scientific fact or something. So, I sold my first system and the guy I helped (who in turn helped me with a buyer) has completed fixing his system and upgrading it. A kid got his first gaming PC and he can upgrade it for a while until he outgrows it. Everybody wins. So, what's buggin' me right now is the whole "Grand Delusion" aspect of people parting with items online for sale. Yeah, that processor from 2003 isn't worth much now dude. Most people don't want it for free. Ugh! I'm into the SYS01 build for sure. It's done folks. Ran benchmarks on it after this recording. Got some great video captures from it. Getting it cleaned up this evening after work and getting a few pics for the listing online to sell it. It's turned out really good too. I'm happy with it for my first one. We'll see how much extra $$$ it scores me, but that's not the only point. It's been a lot of fun to build it out and create something special for someone (hopefully). Listening to nothing new really. Just hyped up over the forthcoming Urge Overkill album dropping soon (well, next month) and that's about it. Watching nothing much new either. Seriously, quit being inconsiderate and respect those around you. People's behavior out in public is absurd right now. I won't be a part of it, but I will correct folks when I have to. Ask the noisy teens in the theatre with us last Sunday night. They were ramping up and I loudly said, "Shut Up!" and they were pretty tame afterward. Now, I'm not a big guy, but sometimes you just don't know, so shutting up is the best plan. I'm into quite a bit. Busy as all get out. Well, first I'm ticked about the selfishness of those not being vaccinated and not wearing masks. This is causing an explosion of COVID infections nationwide and for what? Not a thing! I'm into a bunch, but then I start getting heated up about the whole blue/green text bubbles thing. How ridiculous can we be people? Who cares? iPhones are not a higher-end smartphone people. Seriously. They're no longer more pricey nor are they any better. Just different. If you refuse to be friends with someone or date someone because they own an android...screw you!
