Drunk Disney The Podcast

A new Pixar film is a major event and the release of Coco is no different. The Drunk Disney crew went to see it and (spoiler alert) we sort of love it. Yes, it came out a while ago and we probably should have put up this episode sooner, but why do you have to be so judge-y, huh? Like you don't have any skeletons in YOUR closet. Either way, it's out now, so you can stop looking at us like that. Jeez. 

The God of Thunder has returned in the newest Marvel film - Thor: Ragnarok and Drunk Disney is here to report. Come on in and see what we thought of it.

Ernest is pretty stupid, but a troll once scared him even stupider and then they made a movie. Come listen to us talk about that film about Ernest being scared... and stupid. Also trolls.

During World War II, Disney, in the so-called 'Package Era,' kept themselves afloat shoving a bunch of shorts together and calling them a feature film, much like we shove a bunch of bad jokes together and call it a podcast. 

The Drunk Disney crew spent some time in Walt Disney World this summer and they want to tell you all about it. Since this is a film podcast though, they've decided to do this by comparing attractions at the parks with the films based on them. It wasn't always fun, but they did it for you because they love you. Soooooo much. 

Stephen King's IT is super popular right now due to the new movie. Nick and Jamie like being popular, so they're gonna talk about the original novel while drinking a tasty but gross looking drink. Come float with us (we all float down here).

Much like a zombie pirate, the Pirates of the Caribbean series just keeps on going and going. In this episode, Nick, Mrs. Nick, Jamie, and Phil jump into these ghost shark infested waters to find out if the newest addition to the franchise is full of treasure or if it smells more like something that came out of someone's booty. Come along, won't you? 

For this show, we watched Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and then recorder ourselves talking about it while we drank whatever booze we had in our house. It's podcasting people. That's all there really is to it. I'm not sure what more you want me to say. That's it. Seriously.

Neil Gaiman is super popular right now. There's an interesting new TV show out right now based on one of his novels, there's a less interesting TV show out right now based somewhat on one of his comics and he has a new book out as well. So, because we always like to jump on the latest trends, we are discussing his first book, Neverwhere. It's all very exciting. Come check it out.

So, Disney remade another of their animated classics as a live-action film. It was once again very popular. We once again saw it. Now, we will, once again, discuss it and drink copious amounts of wobbly pop-style adult beverage drinks. Maybe you will want to listen to it. There are worse ways to spend an afternoon.

It's time for our tiny book club to dive head first into a bonafide classic. Come listen to us talk about Jane Austen's most famous book while we drink the heck out of some Pimm's Cups. This one gets deep and kind of long and has a new theme song. Jam out to the rights free sheezat.
